چکیده

Abstract Environmental sustainability is described as one that avoids the depletion or deterioration of natural resources, while also allowing for preservation long-term environmental quality. By practicing sustainability, we may assist to guarantee requirements today’s population are satisfied without risking capacity future generations meet their own needs in future. Engineers field concrete production becoming increasingly interested sustainable development, which includes utilization locally available materials addition using agricultural and industrial waste construction industry possible solutions economic issues. This study investigated effect partial substitution cement with recycled glass powder (0, 15, 20, 25%) by weight at various ages (on compressive strength) after determining optimal ratio replacement. used its on some mechanical properties (such flexural strength, absorption, dry density) reactive containing 1% micro steel fiber (SRPC), furthermore, utilizing steam curing 5 h 90°C hardening sample directly. Reactive (RPC) has been designed use local cement, silica fume, super plasticizer a water/cement 0.20 order achieve strength 137.09 MPa age 28 days. When replacement (20%) was utilized, findings revealed RPC improved 4.2%, increased 15.3%, density 0.61%, absorption reduced 32% days test results were compared reference mix.

Experimental Investigation of Behavior of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC)

The paper presents the results of casting and testing of 264 GFRC specimens. The glass fibers were 25 mm long, with the aspect ratio (L/D) ranging between 1250 and 3570. The parameters studied were the ratio (by weight) of fibers to cement, i.e. F/C=0%, 1.5%, 3%, and 4.5%, and the ratio of coarse to fine aggregates (gravel to sand), i.e. G/S=1.1, 0.7 and 0.2. In total, 12 mix designs were selec...

Flexural Fatigue Strength of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete Containing Blends of Limestone Powder and Silica Fume

Based upon the statistical distribution of flexural fatigue life data and flexural fatigue strength of the steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) containing blends of limestone powder (LP) and silica fume (SF), the influence of these inserts on the flexural fatigue performance of concretes is probed. Concrete mixes were proportioned to replace 30% cement with these mineral inserts in different ...

Simulation of the Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) Behavior Reinforcing with Resistant Fiber Subjected to Blast Load

In research or experimental works related to blast loads, the amount of explosion material and distance of explosion point are very important. So, in this paper has been attempted to present a parametric study of the reactive powder concrete subjected to blast load. The effect of the different amount of TNT adopted the literature, distance of explosion point from RPC slab and also the location ...

Comparative Study of Steel and Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Composites

Concrete is most widely used construction material in the world. Fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a concrete in which small and discontinuous fibers are dispersed uniformly. The fibers used in FRC may be of different materials like steel, G.I., carbon, glass, aramid, asbestos, polypropylene, jute etc. The addition of these fibers into concrete mass can dramatically increase the compressive st...
